Food Manufacturers Systems
Your line doesn't stop for a flavor problem.
A seasoning that clumps in the mixer or fails cook-loss testing costs you a shift. We formulate processed meats, specialty sausages, regional Mexican proteins, and sauce systems to your exact process parameters. Clean label by default.

What changes when you switch, and what stays?
What changes
- The seasoning is specified for dosing, dispersion and flow on your line.
- Once you approve it, the spec is locked. Every batch runs to it.
- Your label. No artificial colors. No MSG.
What stays
- Your mixing parameters, casing and cook process.
- Your target sensory profile. We work from a sample, an ingredient statement or a brief.

Applications
Built for
Food manufacturers and co-packers running industrial lines. You need flavor systems that hold up batch after batch. Engineered to spec. Compliant by default.
Who is this not for?
- Buyers who want an off-the-shelf blend with no spec work.
- Projects with no line or process yet. Start with a formulator conversation, not a production order.
Every profile ships without artificial colors and without MSG. Clean label is our standard.
What can you check before you switch?
- Manufactured in an FSSC 22000 certified, FDA-registered plant.
- Four decades of seasoning manufacturing behind every batch.
- A certificate of analysis (COA) with every batch.
- A spec sheet, an allergen statement and similar documents on request.
- USMCA 0% tariff on qualifying blends. A certificate of origin goes with the blend when it qualifies.
- Samples at no charge, sized for bench testing.
Validate the system on your own bench before any production order.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What processed meat systems does FISA Lab manufacture?
- FISA Lab manufactures Chorizo, Longaniza, and specialty sausage systems for industrial meat processors. Each system is formulated to the buyer's specific mixing parameters, casing type, and cook process. All formulations ship clean label with no artificial colors and no MSG.
- Can FISA Lab match an existing processed meat formulation?
- FISA Lab replicates an existing formulation from a submitted sample, ingredient statement, or written brief. The R&D team develops a clean label equivalent that preserves the target sensory profile and adapts to the buyer's production line without process changes.
- What is the minimum order quantity for FISA Lab processed meat systems?
- FISA Lab processed meat and signature meat systems start at 309 lbs (140 kg) per SKU in 44 lb (20 kg) bags. Snack seasoning systems start at 551 lbs (250 kg) per SKU. Full pallets are available for larger production runs and are not a required minimum. Reorders of approved formulations ship on the lead time agreed in the purchase order. New formulations move to production on a schedule confirmed with your order.
- Why does seasoning clump in the mixer?
- Most clumping comes from moisture pickup and particle size. Fine hygroscopic ingredients cake when humidity rises in storage or at the hopper. Caked seasoning doses unevenly and disperses poorly in the meat block. Tell a formulator how you store and dose the blend. Flow and dispersion then go into your spec.
- Where do meat processors apply the system?
- Meat processors apply the system at their own FSIS-inspected establishment. FISA seasoning systems are FDA-regulated food ingredients. You add the system at the step your process sheet already calls for, such as the mixer or the tumbler. Your HACCP plan and your process stay yours. The system is made to your approved spec.
- Do you supply co-packers running several brands?
- Yes. Co-packing under several brands and private label manufacturing are core applications. Each brand gets its own approved spec. The spec is locked and every batch runs to it. A private label client owns its formula. Every batch ships with a COA, so each brand owner keeps its own paper trail.
- What documents come with each batch?
- Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis (COA). A spec sheet, an allergen statement and similar documents are available on request. The rule on duty is USMCA 0% tariff on qualifying blends. When a blend qualifies, a certificate of origin goes with it for your customs broker.
- Do you charge for samples?
- No. Samples are at no charge and sized for bench testing. Send your current formulation, a sample or a written brief with your mixing parameters and cook process. Use the sample request form. A formulator reviews the brief with you before anything ships. You validate the system on your own bench.
