Branding · FISA Lab

Your product already tastes right. Now it has to look like it on the shelf.

FISA Lab designs brands for food and beverage products: logo, packaging and the label that has to pass in Mexico and in the US. Illustration drawn by hand by Tony Tormenta, FISA Lab partner.

Your flavor. Your brand. Your pack.

    Three ways in

    A new brand

Private label or a product that is just starting. Concept, logo, identity, illustration, packaging and label.

    Logo design

A brand that needs a redesign

It looks old, it gets lost on the shelf or it grew into a line that no longer matches. We redesign the logo, the pack or the whole line without losing what your customers already recognize.

    Packaging design

    A brand entering the US

Your label works at home but not on a US shelf. We redesign it for FDA format and review it against federal rules and your retailer's ingredient standards.

    What branding with FISA includes

    • Strategy and concept: what the brand says and who it talks to.
    • Logo: a new design or a redesign, with its identity system (color, type, rules of use).
    • Illustration drawn by hand: the part nobody can copy.
    • Packaging: bag, pouch, jar, bottle, box, display and line extensions.
    • Regulatory label: FDA format for the US and NOM-051 for Mexico.
    • Sales materials: sell sheet, point of sale pieces, social media and mockups to present to your buyer.
    • Print-ready final files.

Why one partner for flavor, brand and shelf

Most brands work with one supplier for the formula, an agency for the pack and someone else for the label. Every handoff is a place where the ingredient statement on the pack stops matching what is in the bag.

When FISA makes the product, the formula, the ingredient statement and the label come from one place. When FISA distributes the brand, the same label goes through review and on to the shelf in Texas, Southern California, Arizona, Illinois and Utah.

You can also hire branding alone, without our seasonings or distribution.

    How we work

    1. 1. Brief. Send photos of your current pack, the product and what you need: a new brand, a redesign or a US label.

    2. 2. Concept. We propose the direction: what changes, what stays and why.

    3. 3. Design and illustration. Logo, pack and label, with illustration drawn by hand when the brand calls for it.

    4. 4. Mockups. You see the pack on screen before anything is printed, ready to show your buyer.

    5. 5. Final files. Print-ready files and the rules of use, so every new flavor or format stays in the family.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

    For:

    • Food and beverage brands that sell a packaged product: sauces, seasonings, snacks, spreads, beverages, spirits, ready-to-eat lines.
    • Private label programs that need a brand of their own.
    • Restaurants and taquerías with a retail line of their own (salsa, beer, packaged food).
    • International brands entering the US that need their label adapted.

    Not for:

    • A restaurant that only needs a logo for its storefront or menu.
    • Consumers or hobby projects.

    FAQ

Do I have to buy your seasonings to work with your design team?

No. You can hire branding alone. If FISA also makes or distributes your product, the formula, the ingredient statement and the label come from one place.

Can you redesign my brand without losing what customers recognize?

Yes. A redesign starts by naming what stays: the color, the character or the shape people already look for. Then we change what is holding the brand back on the shelf.

Can you adapt my Mexican label for the US?

Yes. We redesign it for FDA format: English, Nutrition Facts, ingredient list, allergen statement and net quantity, and we review it against federal rules and your retailer's ingredient standards. Nutrition values come from your lab analysis. A compliant label does not guarantee a listing.

    Who draws the illustrations?

Tony Tormenta, FISA Lab partner, draws them by hand. That illustration is the part of the brand a competitor cannot copy.
